I guess I have the first delivered package (at least the box claimed 'secret santa')

ss-13-02_zps4ffbeb53.jpg

So there was a 100g tin of McClellend 2012 Christmas Cheer, 8 hand rolled Nicaraguan cigars ('Intensio'), a hand-made tamper, a reconditioned very huge pipe with new carving, and a . . . I'm not sure what to call the carving of a king (George V perhaps?).

Thank you, Santa!

May you all enjoy your gifts when they arrive!

Congrats, Doc!!! Looks like you've got your weekened all set up for you!

There is a lot of handmade goodies right there!

Maybe he is King Wenceslaus.

The carving kind of resembles you.

I doubt anything is going in and out of this place today, flying monkeys or USPS.  Guess I'll eat those cookies, maybe ship on Monday.

I was loading up the stealth sled for tomorrows clandestine launch when Rudolph bolted. :rendeer: If that skittish, scarlet snooted reindeer doesn't smoke all the contents of the package en route it should arrive early next week. :santa: :santa:

Merry Christmas!

Plan to drop my recipient's pkg off over lunch break. Should be there Mon/Tues. :santa:

It quit snowing, so as easy as, "Ep-pe! Pep-pe! Kak-ke, Hil-lo! Hol-lo! Hel-lo!, Ziz-zii! Zuz-zii! ZIK!," the Winkie Express was summoned and now has taken to the sky with a package.  Someone, when a flea-bitten winged monkey appears on your porch with a package, don't shoot him.  See illustration on page 12 for identification purposes.  Remember, that was a juvenile specimen.

Santa tells me that there are packages flying all over the place. And a major winter storm to delay them. I haven't examined it yet, but Cathy came out of the Post Office tonight dragging this huge box for me. Either it's a Secret Santa, or it's a bomb.

Oh yes. Great Christmas tradition. Someone has been sneaking bombs into the fray at Secret Santa time. A Brother says he got a package from his Secret Santa and I am scratching my head, cause I know his Secret Santa hasn't mailed yet. So keep a sharp eye out. :santa:

Santa's sleigh is waiting for one more gift. Last minute intel demanded a delay in delivery. Should be out the door tomorrow.

I got mine boxed up today! It will go out tomorrow in Saturday's post

I am often misdirected. . . . :lol!:

Well, remember when I mentioned packages not from Secret Santa bombing the unsuspecting.  That's what this was.  A nearly black box, with everything wrapped in black paper.  The enclosed card only gave me the name of one of the conspirators.
Thank you for tirelessly managing the Secret Santa and keeping the Knox tradition alive.  We promise not to do this again, but you deserve some recognition, plus you are retiring.  Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year "Brother - Lesath"
Thank you all for such thoughtful gifts!

So y'all are looking at the pic trying to figure out what's all there.  Well, it all came out of a mostly black Priority Mail box.  I really thought that odd that all but one surface was painted black.  I opened it to find bundle after bundle of black wrapping paper.  The box of black vinyl floor mat coloring was a nice touch.  Of course that's not what was in it.  There were 2 tins of Penzance, 1 tin each of 3 Oaks Syrian and Nocturne.  A pouch of 5 Brothers.  A nice camo cap.  I know it says New Holland, but it's still nice.  A pound of dark roast whole bean Caribou coffee.  A generous amount of Lapsang souchong tea for brewing.  (This tea smells amazing.  If you like a pine wood fire, you will love this tea.)  Dark chocolate from Ecuador.  A fistful of polished stones in a nice velvet bag.  Two large and interesting rocks.  The one would be ideal for polishing and mounting a fountain pen as a desk set on it.  There is a Case knife.  Bone handles.  With a nice blade and a combination bottle opener/fork.  Thank you all again!  :santa:

Really nice stuff there DrT999! We have so many creative people making stuff that's fun to use. That carving, isn't it a "Nutcracker" perhaps. Kinda looks like one.

It seems to be a pretty solid piece of wood. The colored squares around the middle seem to represent postage stamps.
