Yuck, Crabs...
Most species eat anything dead that sinks to the bottom, such as all animals including human remains. Ok, crabs are among a group of watery waste management experts., counterpart to land animals, such as vultures. Very important to the environment.
Still won't eat them.
Now lobsters, that's a different story.

We eat dead animals, don't we? Except for the vegans, and all of those that I have met have sour-looking faces. As far as eating crabs is concerned, I'm a born-and-bred Rhode Islander, currently living in Maryland, so I am enthusiastic about seafood.
And for the omnivorous diet of crabs, you like bacon and ham, don't you? And there is practically nothing digestible that pigs won't eat.
