Smoking Rope w/o Rubbing Out?

i cut my rope into really thin coins with an exacto knife. sometimes i rub em out, sometimes i don't. the thing i've found is to slice the coins really really thin, if you rub it out it becomes shag. dries out a bit faster, too. that all being said, i'm pretty new to rope. it's just what works for me.

Maybe you rope-addicts should pick up a Magic Chopper. You know the ones. Chef Tony touted them on late night infomercials.
