I ordered a sample pack from Boswells around the 20th of July, and kept waiting expectantly for the postman every day. I knew it would take longer as an international package, but I was getting quite worried when it hadn't arrived by the beginning of August. I was going to call them today to see if they could track it and see where it had gotten itself to, but when I came home I found it at my doorstep! Better late than never. Also I should say that their customer service when I initially ordered was really helpful and friendly, and they even saved me some pain by suggesting and then marking the package as a 'gift' and 'hobby supplies'. Sneaky but it worked, no horrific import charges for me today (I got a nasty scare when I bought from Tewksbury & Co).

So now All I have to do is choose. Any thoughts on what I should take with me for a smoke later?

Oh by the way, the only one I specified was the chocolate cream as people had recommended it, the others were random... but it looks like I was ordering at a sweet shop.

I've heard good things about the Christmas Cookie. The Beryy Cobbler is REALLY strong IMO. If I am remembering right it has a strong raspberry sort of flavor which was just too strong for me. JFH has one called Old Toby Stash that was a strong blueberry flavor that was excellent, but the berry cobbler was just too strong for my tastes. I'll be eager to hear your take on it as I still have most of my 2oz bag left.

I smoke their No Bite Delite daily for the most part. I really enjoy it. The Berry Cobler as stated by Kaiser83 is strong and needs a long drying period. The Chocalate Cream is very good and will also need signifigant dry time.

Boswell's Best & Boswell Apple Strudel are to of my favorites from them.

Dutch Treat is my personal favorite when it comes to Boswells aromatics.

Berry Cobbler is very berry-ey, but I don't see that as a bad thing. It's a quality tobacco that tastes how it smells...just don't bother rooting around for any real tobacco taste.

Smoker's choice has been on my to-do list for the past several months but I think I'll wait to give it a go on my annual trip there this October.

I'm yet to run into a Boswell blend that I though was a bad baccy, and some of them are just plain outstanding. Even when they choose to step outside of the aromatic realm, their few straight baccys are equally good.

I think Boswell's makes some good stuff. They tend to get over-hyped on the internet and then fail to live up to inflated expectations. They make solid aromatics and decent pipes (though, admittedly a little rough around the edges). I'm sure you'll enjoy each one of yours. I thoroughly enjoy my shot shell poker and Hunter's Choice when the mood strikes. I still haven't tried Christmas Cookie yet. I have been meaning too, but I never get around to calling during the day. Life would be so much easier if they accepted internet orders.
