I've also been bombed by 11 lawyers so far, in case I was injured (even though the accident report -- included in most of the mailings -- stated I was not).
Incredible! Friggin ambulance chasers!!

Cheers?

It's not the notices about a quarter sent that bugs me about it, but the thick envelopes filled with elaborate presentations the other sent -- what a waste!

Good looking car you got there "T". I'm sure you get all the controls sorted soon. Can't say I'm surprised by the lawyers, they're worse than vultures.

You know how you could really get them where it hurts, reply to the attorneys with a picture of the new car and tell them the attorney you chose was so sure of a large settlement that he gave you the car as a down payment on your guaranteed payday

That famous firm of Dewey, Cheetum, & Howe no doubt!

I'd hate to get hit like that. My 2003 Kia Spectra is worth next to nothing on paper but it's mechanically sound and paid for. I hope you can start to dig that new car. Glad you're unharmed, brother. It's the best part of the story.

True that! thanks; I'm sure I'll get used to it. At least I've figured out the secret of the gas cap   Next project, figuring out how to program the radio . . . when did dashboards get so complicated!  :affraid:

Just saw this thread and sorry I hadn't seen it 12 days ago when it was first posted. Sorry to hear of your misfortune and very glad to see that you were not injured. Enjoy the new vehicle, I'm sure you will find the new gadgets, radio, and electronics to your liking once the learning curve has been overcome. And the economy of these new vehicles is quite a nice benefit despite having to make payments for a while.

Thanks! 'Tis a sad state of affairs when a man is reduced to actually having to (sort of) read an owner's manual!  :study:

I hear that loud and clear! The last new car I bought had 2 separate manuals alone for a screen that showed GPS position with all sorts of programming that was like Greek to me. Never used any of it!

 :x

Cheers,
