You're dialling in some interesting shapes there Wiz. What inspired you to shape those?

I like to look at pipes, and see what eclectic designs are out there, what kind of shapes feel nice in the hand, and go from there. The last walnut one was sort of a 'worry stone' for me. Kept sanding on it, changing the shape, sanding, sanding, etc........ Others just come out of nowhere.. Threading the stems into the stummels are probably the most interesting technical issue about the designs.

I like that Wiz, sounds like they just kind of evolve whilst in the hand. Go with the flow and let the wood speak to you. No point in forcing something that might not be there.

Nice pipes Wiz
I notice you couldn't resist the opportunity to flaunt the 40th Anniversary McC - b*****d  :D

Adam, most folks would use my whole name, though some are only allowed to call me Mr. Hole. As you are a Brother, you can call me by my first name, Ass.....

(smirk)

Seriously, sorry to taunt anyone. Just trying to get the size of the pipe in perspective
