Damn Rev, I like this a lot. I think this is one your best. Just hope the wind don't blow a make it tumble down that rock it's setting on

Hey Rev, that is a beauty. Of course, I love bamboo shanks, so that's much of it. But, it's just a really nice pipe. Well done. Way too poor to buy it, but I can sure admire it!

Nice work rev! That bamboo will set the pipe off even better once it absorbs a little baccy juice!

Beautiful pipe brother. Was that the bamboo I sent ya?

I am just letting it dry for now, and then I will heat it over a fire slowly. I am going to wait til it has a good long time however.

I like it a lot.

However, two things...I'm a fan of black bamboo almost exclusively, and...did you do something to bleach out the natural colors at the segment joints? It looks almost too sterile in the bamboo. I like the stuff looking as-is, gives it some flow, separation, and rests between the color-drones.

Otherwise, well done, Rev. :D

As is Kyle, just put it on the pipe. Did sand it a tiny bit to get gnarls off of the nuckles, but otherwise its natural

I do have some black bamboo however, but I am making traditional pipes at the moment

Cool.

As for that black bamboo, feel free to save it for me. You know, on the off-chance you feel like making a Rhodesian for me at 600% mark-up.
