Have I managed to offend everyone here on BoB?

I hope not. Was not my intent.

Wanted to recommend Telford's "Stinson Beach". Rich aroma with a touch of Latakia. Very, very nice.

Best Regards,

I've never heard of this blend. Is it exclusive to a certain shop?

Yes.

"Telford's" in Mill Valley, CA. (Just over the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco).

Is this the place? They don't mention any blends on the site, just pipes, cigars and their lounge.  Strange.l
Yeah... the SF Bay Area is a bit odd... always has been...

Be happy to send you a sample.

Best,

You shouldn't worry about offending anyone here. If the same question or statement doesn't offend you, I hardly think it will offend anyone here.

And if it does, eh! They probably got thin skin and need to toughen up a bit.
For the record, I haven't read any of your posts that have anything to be offended about.

(You shouldn't worry about offending anyone here... )

Thank you, my friend.

Best regards,

I do want to get down to Telford's. Just can't seem to make it. Maybe I will after the first of the year. I will have to try this blend. Do they let one sample their bulk?

As far as offending anyone here, we all wouldn't have made it to being "old farts" if we had thin skin !!

Thanks, brother!

lone - yes, re sampling. Telford's is one of the best pipe shops in the country, if not the world. Susan and Brian are the essence of hospitality. And you can smoke both in the shop as well as the scenic porch. If Mill Valley is a day trip for you, the visit to Telford's alone is worth it.

Concur.

Best,

I've done business with Brian since the early 70s when his shop was in The Cannery in San Francisco ... his move to Marin caused me to go into his shop far less often than I used to since it's so far out of my usual way ... but, every time I do make it in, I tell myself I really should make it a point to go more often ... since Marty Pulvers closed Sherlock's Haven in SF, there just isn't another shop in the Bay Area that's even close to being on a par with Telford's

I thought that Telford's was opening a shop in SF. Yes or no? You might check with them.

I think it's a little cigar corner in Davidoff's.

Best,
