I don't care which ingredients Pease uses, what the definitions are, etc. If he were to create a Stout or Bold or Kickass series, there would be no confusion and the strong latakia taste lovers such as myself would be glad to focus on that series only (unless he can create something similar to Bohemian Scandal whose flavor is sublime without being stout). No reason why a blender cannot cover the taste and strength continuum, if he wants to, and why should he not attempt to please the greatest amount of smokers?
