this is from a sample from a generous brother. this is superb! perfumy, complex, so many different flavors that swirl around in the smoke. this is by far the best oriental I have ever had. smooth, no bite, it seems to smoke best when sipped. age and time have wrought a masterpiece in this mixture. with this sample I now know why so many older smokers lament the tobacco's of yore! utterly marvelous! a true blending masterpiece. wow! I have never seen a tin of this on the aged tin market and now I know why. a legend.

Wow, very nice review of The classic. I smoked a tin of this maybe 5-6 years ago. I concur with your well-written review. Wish I could get some, too.

It is not a match, but I find some similarities with GLPease's Ashbury (which I highly recommend). Perhaps it is close to the same percentage mix of the constituent tobaccos. Again, not a match, I don't want to mislead anyone.
