I had some HH Old Dark Fired and it had a really nice sweet and sour flavor to it. I've tried other similar blends that just didn't have the same thing.

Can anyone recommend a blend with what they would call sweet and sour?

While it's a far cry stylistically from ODF, I find Reiner Long Golden Flake sweet and tangy.

ODF is delicious. I recently opened my first tin and it's my new favorite.

I also recently received a tin of the HH Bold Kentucky. I understand it's similar but different enough to stand on it's own. JimInks review said there are some sour notes as well. I'd say trying that is probably a safe bet.

Also, it may not be what you're looking for, but I find GL Pease's Six Pence to have a sour tang to it, as well as a sweetness. I dig it.

Thank you for the recommendations. I'm going to take my time and try to taste them all, but it's hard to not just buy everything that sounds good.

I've been trying to track down H&H Sweet and Savory and have found out that its a Marquee series tobacco. But I cannot find IT. Who sells it?

I am wondering if Sweet & Savory got swept under the rug like Darbyshire, Virginia Memory and Sierra Nevada. No signs of those either.

I think so, I called P&C a few days ago and the lady I spoke to said she had no idea.

I believe sweet and savory was discontinued. P&C had a blow out of it a while back, along with a couple other blends.

Stefanie at Pipes and Cigars told me that they were in the process of remarketing Sweet and Savory in a few months. We'll see, It is definitely both sweet and savory.

Alright, well thanks for all of your help. I'll wait and see. I think I'll try the other suggestions for now.

I'm sure if you contact Russ over at P&C, he would blend some up for you.
I'd offer a sample to you but I'm pretty sure I finished my last tin. I will check to be sure. If I find any, would you care for a sample?

Thank you for your offer, that's very nice of you. Fr_Tom has offered to send me some to try.
