Ha Ha! People should be as lucky in Manhattan as those ducks are in Michigan.

In Manhattan, Bloomy would remove all traffic lanes to make a ducks-only Promenade.

There's actually a huge fine for hitting one here. Personally, I think that's idiotic. Like any city straddling a river, Kalamazoo will always have some "inconvenient" wildlife. Once in the middle of the night, I saw a dog with something in its mouth sitting at a crosswalk, like it was waiting for the light to change. When it crossed the street into my headlights, I saw it was actually a coyote with a dead turkey!
Still though, I was happy to see these little ducklings make it safely across downtown Michigan Ave.

In Manhattan the wild life are people and Duck Walk is a Long Island vineyard....and pretty tasty wine I might add. Bloomie outlawed 16oz soda but he knows better than to mess with fine local wines because he has an estate out here in the tony Hamptons.

Today is my first anniversary of retirement. I've been spending it just as you see me in my avatar. I'm poolside sipping some Johnnie Walker on the rocks and smoking a fine Partagas Black Label cigar. Life's good. The pool water is 82 degrees. Now I'm off to a friend's home for a BBQ. Wish all you guys were in the neighborhood.
