Does anyone other than myself like the coldblooded side of the world? Particularly Reptiles for me. I have 5 snakes, 3 Ball Pythons, A Carpet Python, and a Red Tailed Boa.

I currently have hundreds of Green Anoles, Mediterranean Geckos and Skinks,
a few Blue Runners and Garter snakes. They live outside.
I don't currently have any that live inside, but I've had Boas, King snakes
turtles and various lizards. Once after a storm, we kept a three foot alligator.
We took him for a one way ride out into the marsh after a few weeks.

Like in outside terrariums / enclosers?
No, like crawlin' all over the house. ;)

"I have the world's largest collection of sea shells.
I keep it scattered on beaches all over the world.
Maybe you've seen some of it."

We have a few Ball Pythons. They are the quite pets. We also have a Quaker parrot and dogs.

Daughters is a zoologist at the local zoo. We went through a phase with various lizards. Two biggest were a tegu (mine) and a Nile (hers). When she moved out I inherited the Nile. It would roam free and lived under my bed! When daughter was at college her landlord sprayed for bugs/vermin which affected the niles brain. She would attack and bite her tail. Had two or three vet trips to get her tail trimmed. She was longer than four feet even with half her tail missing. Would play with her with a silicone hose (one inch and very thick) off an aquarium pump. She would chase my daughter too. Last time playing tug-of-war with her I wasn't paying attention and she grabbed my hand between thumb and forefinger. HURT!! Fifteen pound lizard holding on and shaking her whole body. Had to get vinegar to get her to let go. Daughter had to take her to the vet to be put down. That was the last of the lizards. Now three dachshunds..

Like Hermit, we have an abundance of lizards and especially five-lined skinks in my area. Shadow the wonder pup must eat a half dozen skinks a day in the summer. Copperheads are abundant in my woods as well, and eastern hog-nose visit from time to time (arguably the coolest snake to mess with in Arkieland).

Unfortunately, I built the garage below the house, so all the vermin in the county come to visit us when they so desire.

I have an Australian blue-tongued lizard.

I had a red morph bearded dragon several years ago.

One of the most expensive and difficult to keep pets that I have ever owned.

I have always liked reptiles but low maintenance they are not.

Blue-tongues are easy as pie. And personable. Heat lamp, some fresh veg and lean meat, somewhere to bury themselves...they're happy.

FINALLY THE SHADOW IS REVEALED! It's Natch's dog..... I wonder how he manages to send the box's with the mail man scared and all?

If you own snakes, you must also own Japanese-style swords on a rack. I think it's some unspoken law. :p

Pretty snakes, by the way. Snakes are like cats for me, I prefer other people own them. Mostly because they can get pretty big.

Is your freezer filled with dead things or do you provide live food?
