Just hold off on carving anything that resembles a pancreas. They aren't ready for that yet here on BoB. :lol:

I'm not branching out at all. When I make a Chheda pipe I try and make sure it's not a Jones. I want the Chheda aesthetic to stay distinct from the shapes I really like to do. If I didn't what would be the point of maintaining my brand.

Regardless, my preferences do peek through from time to time. I'm glad you liked this one!

I don't like Dunhills, at all really, but I did just see this one pop up on eBay. It's a birth-year pipe, too, but it's unfortunate I can't afford it. Shame, shame.

It actually looks like toothmarks more than over-polishing, but it could perhaps be a bit of both. I just like the shape more than anything really.

I do too, but the edges of the bit (where it joins the shank) are rounded off. I hate that, and kills the deal for me.

I would love either one of these two Werner Mummert pipes. They are made from beams from a 16th century church.How cool is that??? Well it's pretty cool for a guy who collects very old Bibles. But they are way, way, way out of my price range.
