That could be. But the balancing flat spot is so skillfully applied that you have to know it's there to get the position right and get it to balance in one easy, nonchalant, unstudied motion. Kinda cool, I'd say. I've seen sitters before, but not one that doesn't look like a sitter. Granted your typical basket pipe doesn't have very good flame grain all the way'round
