yeah I like his stuff but he doesn't seem to grab it like Walle does, not sure why? Its funny, I really love this weird stuff, but when I think about making a pipe I almost always am thinking in a more Florov, Batson, lane sort of direction. Not that I can pull it off. Its like I like the crazy bizare textured stuff, and would want to own it, but I want to make stuff that really shows off the grains.

I've always been a big fan of Roger Wallenstein's work. He and I swapped pipes a few years ago and I think I got the better end of the deal. He's a super creative guy and a genuinely nice fella to boot.

I was going to say that this looks like a wasp nest or part of a honeycomb, especially with the color of the stem, but you beat me to it. I'd definitely smoke it.
