what percent of projects are you personaly happy with that make u say dang thats nice? i find my self makeing thi gs every one thinks there nice but i see all kinds of changes id make.

Arky, we all go through that stage with any craft. Even when I made custom knives. Even though the customers were always happy I wondered if there was anything I could have done to make it better. Same thing when I made a few pipes and years ago when I did some woodturning. As a craftsman one strives always to do better, even if it's already at its best. One day you'll understand, it takes time and your doing well real fast

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

Never stop trying to improve. Even if no one else sees the flaw, you will. So, next time you do better.

Think of the feeling when you will finally say "That is good" because it meets your ever increasing standards.

The difference between a craftsman and a piece-worker.

Wow, that sure is a big bowl. Take your time, looks like it will be a large salad family size bowl. Very nicely done so far

only isaue is it jumped off center while makeing the bowl part sooo i have to figure something out to still make it look good. damn

Arky, jumping off center happens to the best of them. Slowly trim out and shape the inside and the bowl will still be useable for nuts, chips pretzels and so on.

All is not lost. Now sand down all the top edges and you'll come up with a bowl called THE WAVE. The grain on that piece is beautiful. You just made yourself a fancy candy dish.

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

Arky, congratulations....

Looking forward too also seeing you progress further.

KEEP ON PUFFING WHILE WOODTURNING!!!
