I read today that Bennett was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in 2015, when he was 87. He was able to continue performing because of one of the anomalies of the disease; you still can remember lyrics and melody. Apparently the obvious onset of the disease was when he collaborated with Lady Gaga on an album.

Tony performed in Memphis at the Orpheum about 5or 6 years ago. The concert was a week before Christmas that year and the same night as my in-laws gathering. Well, I'm still married so you can guess who I missed.

Well, in the latter stages Glenn Campbell started to slip up sadly while performing, forgetting lyrics, chord changes, etc. There was a touching bio about his decline on Netflix a couple years back. Such a sad affliction........
