London Mixture, the best oriental forward blend by Dunhill.

Nitecap has been my everyday smoke , couple weeks ago cracked my first tin of LM and it was really pleasant, smoother than Nitecap , it will be a regular smoke for me.

A good friend and pipe maker smokes nothing but NightCap and has for years. I keep trying to get him to try something else but he just goes back to that blend. And he has been selling his stash of OLD NightCap for big $$ and buying up all of the newer Orlik stuff that he likes better!!! Go figure. He has sold some of the old NightCap for up to 100 dollars for a 4 oz. tin and goes out and buys 10 tins of the new stuff. LOL
Pretty good exchange IMO.:D

I have a lot if tins if Nitecap, that's mostly what I buy, not much if an adventurer , stick with what you like is my Motto, Been disappointed in a lot of getting new blends, not an Aro man, only Aro I smoke is TroutStream when I go to the Bingo Hall with wife, Blue Hair Ladies love the smell,

I smoke a bit of Dunhill EM and it does tend to be a bit strong in the nic but, always had plenty of taste, rather strong even but, I like it on occasion. Like some of us it may just be a chemistry thing and you may not be one who can enjoy it.
Oh! and I inhale about 60% of what I smoke without any problems.
I'm not a big Lat smoker but, I do enjoy Pembroke from time to time.
Maybe try different pipes and or techniques, sometimes it's just that.

I can't speak to London Mixture as it's been several years since I smoked it.

Currently, I'm mostly a virginia smoker with one aromatic and one mild English/Balkan in my rotation.

I enjoy and cellar Dunhill Early Morning Pipe. I find it to be virginia-forward, with good orientals and just a pinch of latakia, and so it fits nicely into my playbook.

I buy EMP in bulk and notice no difference between the bulk and the tin versions.

EMP being virginia forward, it also ages well and find it does improve noticeably with some age on it.

Here's some of the other English blends in my repertoire. I consider these mild, YMMV:

C&D Good Morning
4 Noggins El Rincon de la Pipa No.1
Hearth & Home Black House
Sutliff Man's Best Friend
John Middleton Walnut
