Update on Angus! :)

I mentioned a while back that my 14 year old beagle had to be put to sleep in July of last year and one of my wife's German shepherd dogs had to be put to sleep in April of this year. In November of last year I got a hound from the shelter and named him Angus. Boy, what a dog!

The vet thought he must be around 2 years old when I first got him. I think he was right.

He and I were meant for each other. He's working out tremendously well. He has adjusted to living in the house so well.

He's a young, silly, affectionate, and smart enough dog. But if he gets off his leash I won't get him on his leash again for 45 minutes! He loves to run. Good thing we live out in the country.

Glad he is working out. Nothing better than a loyal, loving dog, except maybe a loving, loyal horse. Of course it is a bit difficult to get a horse to lay at your feet, lol.

And when a critter puts its front feet on my lap to ask for a hug while I'm sitting in my recliner I'd rather it be a dog than a horse.
