What the heck, I think 'Jock' if terrific stuff. Not to please those around you but to please the smoker.
Fill a bowl, light up, sit back with a BIG glass of bold red and enjoy. This, to me, is the tobacco equivilent of a good Cabernet or a Barolo. Full, rich, complex and satisfying.
I've tried it straight out the pouch and also let it dry for a bit, great both ways. I've had no problem with keeping it fired up. There is no bite and the taste continues to develop as you burn your way through.
Room note reminds me of a campfire lit over rich loamy fertile soil, not unpleasant by any stretch of the imagination but not to everyone's 'taste'.
If you get the chance and are able to get your hands on a pouch I would highly recommend that you do so.
