Very Special Savinelli Autograph E

Good morning,

What can you tell me about the Savinelli Autograph grade E. I’ve been told it’s above an Autograph 0000 but I’ve never seen one for sale at shops or on eBay. How rare is this grade? Are there also 00E grades? Seems to me I’ve heard of that one, too

I’ll appreciate any information you may be able to provide.

If you are not familiar with this grade, can you suggest who I might contact for more information.

one or two per year but maybe not every year. A smoker named Jeff has one and widely written about it, he 60th birth year pipe, you may find it by googling. It is a natural blast.

No kidding! An E with a blast. Surprised. I've tried Googling without success. I just sent emails to Savinelli ad to several purveyors of Savinellis. Also to some 'pro' collectors I know. Maybe you can find out how to contact this Jeff person . . . . Thanks for replying to the post.

BTW, where are you in NJ? I was born in Newark and raised in Westfield. Am in California now.
