Now that was good to see. It cleared up some questions I had about the process. That shop is what I think heaven will look like. :D :D

Yep, a great bit indeed. Still amazes me how blends which seem so different from one another can come from the same small space, the same machinery, and the same tobacco stocks.

To hearken back to an earlier thread - there is good reason why C&D was voted the most favorite pipe tobacco manufacturer by those on this board.

Makes we want to pop a tin of GLP whatever each time I watch it.

as i clutch on to my GLP tin.......................

thats a good video.

think id be escorted off the ground if i camped out there? id live with the emu, bad temperment or not!

Resurrecting this thread because this video is freakin' awesome!. Just found it today so my apologies if this is old news to alot of you, but I suspect some newer folks would really enjoy watching it.

I have to say this is not at all what I imagined when thinking about a tobacco factory. I've seen residential garages that were bigger and had fancier machinery!

Amazing that such a relatively low-tech operation produces so much variety and so many excellent blends. Really fascinating stuff.

Feel like an idiot as I can't seem to find the video and it's driving me crazy!

I guess that makes two of us!

Lol...nah, you guys aren't idiots. It's a little hidden sorta.

Follow the link, let the page load and then right beneath the first section of the article (near the top of the page), Directly beneath the line "Please enjoy our 13-minute video tour of the Cornell & Diehl factory, followed by an interview with Craig Tarlar, the owner and driving force behind Cornell & Diehl." is the video.

It sits directly to the left of an add about vacationing in ireland, which is right above a picture of a horse. The beginning of the video is an add for ireland, with a picture of some sort of stone structure thingy.

Now if you still can't find it with my help...then you mightbe idiots but I'll still give you the benefit of the doubt.

Ah, No wonder I couldn't find it. I am using Mozilla Firefox and it blocks so much stuff it was not there and neither were any ads so I opened my IE and went there and it popped right up. Still can't see it using Firefox.

Thanks,
