Sitting on the front porch smoking Scotty's Trout Stream listening to the rain. Jarred up loose tobac in Mason jars and made labels. 3/8 of the top bookshelf is tins and 3/8 is now Mason jars and I still have 3 traveldors filled with micelanous zip lock bags of tobac. Did jar up an experiment blend of 4 parts 515 RC-1 and 3 parts perique. Let that meld for 6 months or more and see what happens

Great bowl of aged Marlin flake last eve after supper, which the estate GBD gold band bent 'doggy seems to love.

OGS started my day, in the ever humble Sav 316 Oscar Lucite.

Have some Revor awaiting me after supper, in the way great estate Wiley Galleon 1/2 bent from the Blue Room Boyz!

I reduced the number of posts in this thread. It seems to get more posting here when I do that.
Hey Jim, we all do what we can when we can. I don't post everything I smoke and many of us can say likewise. Don't let that deter you from posting. No-one here thinks you're boasting or anything as silly.

Cheers,

RR
I understand that, though I will say I want to see what you aren't posting, too. You want to see my posts, and I want to see yours as well. I just don't understand why some don't post when I'm listing all my smokes, and will post when I'm not posting. I've seen this before, here included, and I'll just say this to those who fall into the latter camp: It shouldn't matter how often or how seldom I post. Your posts are just as important as mine to the community. They are very important to me. I like seeing what people are smoking, and your posts make this thread important. If you think I am burying your posts by how often I smoke, rest assured that yours get seen and appreciated just as much as mine do. Holding back because I'm a constant presence here - or whatever your reasons are - hurts this thread, this community who desires your company, and it isn't doing you any good either. Please consider being more active.

Skandinavik Vanilla.

Hal o' The Wind in a Castello Sea Rock foursquare with coffee, watching the North London Derby. COYG!

Aged OGS to start the day after a light b'fast and reading the Sunday paper in my man cave - a.k.a. the laundry room! The old estate Sav 316 Oscar Lucite is dedicated to this blend. It's a trooper and a cheap buy I once got from bro Mattia.

Need to try and get away from the usual routine of "reach-for" baccy and shake it up a bit with stuff that's been sitting in jars far too long!

Cheers,

RR

All Things Being Equal in a Falcon. Cold and windy out, so tucked in with the zoo in the heated part of the barn. Black coffee to pair.

Starting off my smoking day with Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. A bottle of Cheerwine made with pure cane sugar is my drink. Watching Terror By Night starring Rathbone and Bruce.

Now smoking McLintock Marillen Mixture in a 2014 smooth medium bend Basil Meadows egg with an aluminum band and a "root beer swirl" acrylic stem.

Now smoking year 2015 Savinelli Doblone d’Oro in a smooth straight early 1960s Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Getting ready to read some of the latest Bing Crosby biography.

Now smoking Art’s Virginia in a 1980s White Pipe straight, smooth bulldog meerschaum with an acrylic yellow cream colored saddle stem.
