Finished work for the day, and am half way through this bowl of year 2016 Sutliff Revelation Match in a straight smooth brown pre-WWII Kingsway (Comoy’s) London Made 61 Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. I expect to end the day with this smoke.

We have a little dog that spends hours of the day at our house, and somebody called him Freddy and it stuck. Eventually we met his owner who lives down the street, and calls him Buddy. So we weren't too far off lol.
There used to be stray cat that made the rounds in this neighborhood. We named him "Buster" after a skit in the old Lum and Abner radio show. Grandpappy Spears lost his memory and after a couple of weeks of that, he went to The Jot 'Em Down store, and told Lum and Abner that he figured out that his name was Buster V. Davenport. Abner asked him how he figured that out, and Grandpa said, "I looked at my underwear and saw my initials, BVD."

Good morning everybody. This morning I'm going to fill a Savinelli Author with some Charatans first bowl.. your right Charley, I'm one of those who rave about Authors 😊. And great work on the Meers too. You should make a YT video buddy, showing the entire process. I'm off to clean a few pipes, have a great day my friends.

Good Morning!
I'm starting with Dunhill Flake in a Pride along with coffee. It was fun reading the cat and dog posts, it brought back memories about the varied pasts of our pets before they adopted us.
Agreed Bali, I love to read about Jims cats too. In fact I love to read all the personal added stories. It adds a little depth, instead of people just enjoying and sharing their pipes. You gain an insight to who that person is. And I love that....hope that made sense 🤣

Good morning,
I was up late last night watching the Yankees lose,LOL! Smoking a Pete Christmas professor with Casey Jones hero`s blend- not a bad smoke! Large mug of Yukon coffee. Cloudy humid day so far-at least it`s not raining!

Good morning BoBs. Didn't get a chance to smoke much yesterday. Stayed busy with chores then went to a meet the candidates event at the Legion. Got home late. Up fairly early this morning as I have Ranger breakfast at 8. Getting in a bowl of CS Sweet Burley in a Calabresi bent brandy with morning coffee. Should have time for a couple more bowls later before we head out to the ranch. Going to the rodeo tonight. Opening night is always good.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of early 2000s Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Smoking a Brebbia bent brandy with sweet virginia and another mug of coffee. My wife just came back from the groomers with our Newfoundland, bath and her summer haircut -price was 275. Am I losing my mind or was that a pricey haircut? I know she`s a big dog,but WOW!

Late lunch break, and having some PA in a Stetson Synchromatic briar. What do you guys think about this being a yello bole logo on the stem. Other marks are imported briar Italy.

I'm pretty sure I've seen that logo before somewhere, but I don't think it's a Yello Bole logo based on this I found: Y -- Pipes: Logos & Markings. But as Dennis Miller said back when he used to be funny, "That's just my opinion; I could be wrong."

About to rain, for the first time in what seems like forever, but we mustn't complain, lord knows the gardens need it. About to fill a Parker Straight Billiard 578 with some, (yessss OK you guessed it). With some glorious Hobbit Weed. I love this pipe, it always give a long cool smoke. God knows why Dunhill rejected it, fussy sods 😉🤣

Wow that equates to £217 in English money, that is one very expensive groom. We would get half a kennel done for that much. 😲

Did a set of walking reps, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Lunch follows this smoke. Watching the Braves-Twins game.

About four a.m., I was able to take a rare photo of Shy Stripesy who has been coming here for three years. She's still afraid me even though she knows I'll feed her. I had to take the photo through the window before I went outside with food.

1918, a burley/burley Cavendish blend, in a Kirsten bulldog. The burley red tips are really a kick in the pants, but I need to get a bigger bowled pipe, these homeblends burn up quickly! One of those extra-large pipes you can't even clench. But maybe it's just as well to have quick smokes while I'm still learning how to blend. 🙂

Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast with a golden delicious apple on the side. I'm not far from finishing this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Just finished cleaning a few pipes.
