Passing the half way mark on this bowl of year 2020 D&R Raccoon’s Delight in my very reliable smooth straight post-1938 pre-Republic Peterson Sterling Canadian 263 with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Working and listening to the Dodgers-Pirates game. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Virginia Bright with Perique in a Savinelli Miele, really a nice tobacco for this brightly bent pipe.

I've been stressed because of all the meerschaums I f@#$ed up with wax. I've tried heating it and freezing it and different solvents that just spread the wax around. I'll have to endure it and hope that in its function as a pipe it will dissipate the wax over time.

There's very little on the internet about this, obviously you're safer with a very thin layer rubbed on when it's warm, but I was so tempted by the colors it brought out. Like a waitress said at work the other day, "Life is a learning experience." Or George Clooney in Oh Brother Where Art Thou, "We're all looking for answers."
