Good Afternoon my friends and fellow BoBs. Smoking a beautiful Erik Nording great dane with silver mount, and some equally beautiful Hobbit Weed, on a very hot and humid day, with the odd rumblings of summer thunder. I hope your all having an excellent day.

Took my riding buddy and his wife out to dinner for his birthday. He is my pardner and best friend. Now having some 5 year old PS LBF in a Sav Estella Non Pareil. Forgot I had this but discovered it hiding in the cupboard a couple of weeks ago. Was dried leaf crunchy so had to rehydrate it. Not a bad smoke but will never be in my top 10. Only have maybe an oz left. Should send it off to Zeno, lol.
When I was first exploring Stokkebye tobaccos, I really took to LBF, but as I resupplied, I found myself grabbing it less and less. Not sure why.

66° and clear. Beautiful morning. Stanwell with new 507-C. I thought it might be a tad dry, but it was a wonderful smoke. I can't seem to keep this tobacco at a particular hydration rate. It loves to go dry. Every couple of days, I have to futz with a hydration disk. Maybe that says there is less of a casing on it? 7.5/10.

A third of a bowl left of early 2000s Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Amphora Original in a Kaywoodie Super Grain 07 billiard. I believe this pipe is starting to shine as a burley blend smoker. I get more taste out of it for familiar blends but with new flavors coming through. This a just opened pouch of Amphora but it is smoking fine. The stinger has already condensed some moisture. Macbaren is doing something just right with this blend giving me greater admiration for blender and pipe maker.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2012 Anniversary Kake in a smooth burgundy 1979 Chippendale (Charatan second) Rhodesian 49 with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Getting ready to watch the Cubs-Yankees game. The sun is out, and it's raining. Sounds reasonable.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Strang in a 2003 smooth light brown medium bend straight grain Ardor Venere Extra signed by Dorelio Rovera Dublin with a black acrylic saddle stem. Gold Star mmmMidnight, neat, is my drink.
