Is the wick fed with lighter fluid? I thought about getting one, but using my hemp wicks mostly.
Yeah it is, I want to use the flint on the side of the lighter but it's much easier to use the lighter to light the match. Takes me four or five strokes to spark it. Same size as a Zippo, three times as heavy. This one's called a Chief.

Smoking a Hilson bent author with Cult red moon and an 8 o`clock k-cup. The holysmoke pipe has been in alcohol/cotton for about 3 hours ,so far the cotton has barely turned beige, which is a good sign that the pipe was well cared for.

Finished off the last two bowls of Gettysburg, it really tanked at the end, lost all of its flavor. Well I've got more than two pounds of the other Brigadier Black blends to smoke.

Now I'm smoking Russ' Ice Cream Sundae in a CAO Eagle perched on Nest meerschaum. This blend is always pleasant to smoke. Has anybody tried any of Russ' other kit blends?

Just got home from a strenuous, hot day at work. Nice to get back in an air-conditioned structure. I'm smoking some John Patton Dark Horse in a Dr. Grabow rusticated Riviera billiard and drinking blackberry flavored carbonated water (Bubbly brand) from Walmart. @Swede - here is a picture of the Savinelli that I was talking about. See how the stem is straightening out? One of these days, I'll try to straighten it out.

Did a set of walking reps, and I've a third of a bowl left of New Watch City Beta Test #1 in a smooth unfinished brown slight bend 2015 Savinelli 320KS author with a tapered black vulcanite stem. I'll be testing WC blends for a little bit.

Smoking a Beraldi bent brandy with Lane TK-6 and a bottle of Poland spring water, just got in from filling the bird feeders,it`s only 80 something but it feels like a hundred out there!
Charley, I have Russ` pirates cove,it`s not bad,but I will not be buying anymore. kind of bland to me,but then again I am mostly an aro guy. Have you tried Lane LL-7 ? It`s a carmel/vanilla blend. reasonably priced ,too.

Now smoking New Watch City Beta Test #1 in a smooth straight 1930s unbranded Austrian 1930s zulu meer with a replacement tapered orange/brown acrylic stem. This pipe was owned by my late friend, David Ward.

Maybe I'll give LL-7 a shot next time, I remember liking their BWAB.

I'm out in front of the peacocks under an umbrella, smoking Black Frog, Virginia, latakia, and perique, in the most expensive pipe I have ever purchased, a Scottie Piersel. I tried throwing all the best Virginias I had at it, but maybe this home blended stuff and a change of scenery will help me find a better smoke. 😎

Half way through this bowl of New Watch City Beta Test #2 in a 1982 smooth slight bend straight grain Ben Wade Martinique freehand sitter with a wide top and a black vulcanite stem. Haven't smoked this pipe in a while.

Because of the video thread and Jim's morning post I decided to have EGR as a before dinner smoke in the Pride I'd been using. I'm not an aromatic smoker but I did enjoy the pipe. It doesn't go well with a glass of wine but might pair well with morning coffee. Now that the birds are in bed and the days work is done I'm enjoying GLP Kensington in a Pride and a glass of Lambrusco.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, two pounds of wild caught cat fish and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm half way through this bowl of New Watch City Beta Test #3 in an undated, unbranded straight lattice meerschaum military mount with a silver cap and tapered yellow acrylic stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Time to clean a few pipes.
