We raised Cornish game hens once, you don't have to wait very long for them to get pretty big!

Supermarket chicken is White Cornish crossed with White Plymouth Rocks then recrossed. The Slow Cornish are the first cross. I'm raising some Kosher Kings which are Barred Plymouth Rocks crossed with Sussex, they're supposedly a favorite in the NY specialty poultry market. I'm also putting together two egg producing flocks of Barred Plymouth Rocks, about ten hens and a rooster per flock.

Just finished smoking Low Country Pipe & Cigar Natural Virginia & Burley in a 2020 straight black sandblasted Merchant Service “Bing” Standard with a nickel band and tapered black vulcanite stem. Fed Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger. The ferals ate earlier. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Half way through this bowl of year 2022 Watch City Blue Ridge Special in a straight smooth ebony post-WW2 LHS Sterncrest 91 bulldog with a sterling silver band, a diamond shank and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Listening to an unedited 1949 episode of You Bet Your Life.

A third of a bowl left of year 2016 Sutliff Revelation Match in a straight smooth brown pre-WWII Kingsway (Comoy’s) London Made 61 Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Work's done for the day, and it's on to other things that I have to do before bed time.

Half way through this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 2018 full bend smooth Terracotta Peterson XL315 System Standard military mount with a nickel cap and a flared black vulcanite p-lip stem. I'll end the day with this smoke.

Had the most awesome surprise in my mail today, a huge quantity of Delicious Urban Cowboy blended by my and everybody's great buddy Ranger.
In fact there was so much of it, I had to double jar it. It is so precious to me, that I've stored most of it, in one of my Grandfather's tobacco jars and the rest in a masons bowl, which I'll smoke first. So thank you Ranger my friend, you are a legend. And without further ado. I'm filling a bowl of this awesome Delicious Urban Cowboy, in a Butz Choquin Rodeo, and puff away content in the knowledge, that there are still amazingly wonderful people like Ranger in this world.

Enjoying it is an understatement my friend, I'm loving it. So much so that I'm going to have another bowl in a Petersons Killarney XL90 . In fact I have so much in the cellar now, that I'm going to bring out the big boys to smoke it in .
