Relaxing after a wonderful salad, one and a half pounds of wild caught catfish and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm nearing the last quarter of this bowl of year 2015 Mac Baren Virginia #1 in a straight black 1925 Dunhill patent shell Canadian 33 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Going to work soon.

Did my part in keeping the apple industry in business by enjoying a tasty golden delicious apple. I'm passing the quarter mark on this bowl of year 2007 Astley’s No. 109 in a straight smooth brown circa 1950s-60s BBB Contrast 506 Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Listening to a 1962 WOR broadcast of The Jean Shepard Show.

Nearing the half way mark on this bowl of Watch City English Ernie-ental in a straight dark brown and tan rusticated Peterson 2023 Saint Patrick’s Day 264 Canadian with an Irish flag colored ferrule and tapered black acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Did a little snacking, fed Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave, and I'm passing the first third of this bowl of Wilke High Hat in an undated black sandblasted straight made in France Silvermatch Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Part way through this bowl of D&R Windsail in a smooth straight dark brown family era “Canadian” by Sasieni with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Listening to the audition episode of Our Miss Brooks from my radio collection. It was typical standard fare for the time. It was a good thing they rewrote and redefned the characters and replaced Shirley Booth with Eve Arden.

Near the half way mark on this bowl of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. Finished work for the day and will complete this Archie job tomorrow night. Just fed the ferals, Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger.

Close to finishing this bowl of year 2012 Carter Hall in a black rusticated medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 437/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This will end my smoking day. Been chatting with an old friend.

Good Morning!
Another Westminster morning! I just made a pour over pot of Guatemalan Huehuetenango to get me through the morning. I've been enjoying Westminster as the first smoke of the day, it may fill the spot EMP occupied for many years. The pipe is another of the four Apple shapes in my rotation.

Straight Virginia Blendbase in a Bacchus meerschaum. I'm bidding on a lot of pipes with stem issues. After watching Southland Piper, I'm getting to enjoy working on troublesome stems, as well as sanding and staining pipes. This lot has twenty estates, which means a new pipe rack, but I'm getting into woodcrafting too. With some new sheet music, I'm hopping out of bed these days.
