Couldn't sleep, so I'm up and am half way through this bowl of Watch City Original Crumb Cut in a 1950s-60s straight smooth brown Bertram 07 octagonal paneled billiard with a square shank and a tapered black vulcanite stem.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of early 2000s Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Getting ready to watch the Yankees-Red Sox game. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am passing the first third of this bowl from a freshly opened tin of C&D Carolina Red Flake with Perique 2023 (Small Batch) in a 1986 three quarter bend Bacchus face CAO meer with a tapered dark tortoise shell colored acrylic stem. This goes on sale Sept. 20. Working on a review of it.

Passing the quarter mark on this bowl of Uhle’s Blend 44 in a 1922-38 Made in Ireland Peterson Dublin 3 straight smooth dark brown bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem. Going to do a little work in the studio, and listen to the rest of the ball game. Lavazza Classico, neat, is my drink.

Been on a bit of a hiatus from the pipe due to some dental work. But, today, I loaded a Kaywoodie Super Grain 07 billiard with Tabac Manil Semois La Volute. I'd thought this name translated to something about the larger cut, but the words seem to possibly refer to a spiral shape of a form in architecture and that of a snail shell. Anyway, I loaded 7-10 small pinches and packed each one with my finger testing the draw until I reached with 1/8 inch of the top. I got 50 +- minutes out of the bowl with a lot of earthiness and some still hard to name flavors. It left nice gray ash with very few unburnt shreds at the bottom. Interesting, the smell I got on sniffing my mustache at the end was minty. Good grief, that was unexpected. I'll try a pot next. The nic hit was certainly there but not overwhelming. Now smoking DGT of Hamborger Veermaster from @Ol'Dawg in an MM General with forever stem.

Passing the half way mark on this bowl of year 2012 E-soterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Just finished cleaning a few pipes.

Almost half way through this bowl of C&D Carolina Red Flake with Perique 2023 (Small Batch) in an undated, unbranded straight lattice meerschaum military mount with a silver cap and tapered yellow acrylic stem. Watching the Braves-Phillies game as I write review notes.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm near the last quarter of this bowl of Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a smooth medium bend terracotta Peterson POY 2023 X160 464/1100 military mount egg with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This OTC-like mild-to-medium Bur/Va should go on sale in November.
