Early this afternoon I went to get the mail. Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave were lying on the part of the deck where the sun was shining. As I walked by the front of the house, I heard Sam the Scamp meowing. He was hiding behind the bushes, and when he heard me coming, he stuck his head out to let me know he was there and was hungry. Tomato heard him, and came out to see what was going on, and probably to scare him off, too. I picked Sam up, got the mail, and went into the house. Sam was purring the entire time I held him because he knew I would take care of him. I got a plate and a cup of dry food, and took him to the front porch so he could eat away from the other cats. Sam ate every morsel of food, and then walked around my legs, brushing against me. He is always grateful.

Good Morning!
It's a winter morning, sunny, breezy and cold! Chores are done and I'm starting a Rob Roy filled with GLP Kensington along with coffee.

I have Rosa on my lap and Winston at my feet!
When we got our rescue dog Charlie 2 months ago, he was named Winston by the humane folks. Wife didn't like it and he didn't answer to it, so we called him Charlie as a tribute to one of my Ranger buddies. He is officially Charles, Elliott, after my Dad, Winston the 3rd, lol.

Smoking a Design/Berlin Rhodesian with CAO Bella vanilla and a 8 o`clock k-cup.
I spent most of the am going to different mechanics, trying to get a decent price on a tune-up for the SUV. Somehow,it`s gotten very expensive! Damn cars are all complicated now and nothing is simple... I need to go outside and tackle the leaves, again!

What fun,i`m having! My lawn vac didn`t want to start, I pulled the spark plug and cleaned it up, Did an oil change. It fired up. I came in for a quick clean-up and decided its lunch time. Now smoking Larsens 1864 and a k-cup.It`s already 1 o`clock and not a leaf has been rounded up yet.

Watching Mad Dog Russo slam Yankees GM Brian Cashman. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am passing the half way mark of this bowl of year 2018 Solani 633 in a straight 1954 patent Dunhill 148 Group 3 black shell bulldog made for the France market with a black saddle vulcanite stem. Coffee from a freshly opened bag of Gold Star Brazilian Bourbon Santos, neat, is my drink. Fed Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave, but when Sam the Scamp showed up, I had put Daisy and Tomato in the house so they wouldn't chase Sam away. Our friend Teresa (a fellow cat lover) was here, and Sam was exceptionally friendly to her in their first meeting. Sam is such a delightful cat. His ears look like a rabbit's, and he most certainly runs like one. Playful and fun.
