Living in the northeast Round Up comes to mind as an insecticide for genetically engineered "Round Up ready" crops. Monsanto got in so much trouble creating super fund sites that they stated poisoning larger areas with smaller dosing.

Well, in the western US, it means gathering the cattle for a trail drive. Since this is a halfway blend between Urban Cowboy and Cattle Drive I thought Zippos suggestion of Round Up was very appropriate. And, IT has nothing to do with weeds. LOL.

Good morning BoBs. Got the doggies all fed and settled. Now having Hobbits Weed in a Calabresi bent brandy a mug of morning CR coffee. In the garage nook since it's a somewhat chilly 31 on the patio. Have to run out to the ranch later and blanket the boys as it’s going down to 14 tonight. Jim, glad you're taking care of the kitties, and yes, caring for multiple animals is a lot of work. We have an acquaintance who breeds and raises Golden Doodles. They currently have 9 of various ages running around the house, lol. It's a full time job.

Good afternoon BoBs, today I'm smoking this estate pipe I got from Ebay. I don't know anything about it really, other than it has 'Westminster' stamped on one side and Made in London England on the other. The stem has an image of the tower bridge stamped into it.

Starting off my smoking day with a bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

A very steady rainy old day here, so outside work is nixed. I did enough this week after and breaking from work that I am taking this as a sign to slow down for a bowl of my treasured C&D Steamworks in a C91 Briarworks crimson blast with acrylic amber stem pipe. This blend smokes well in almost any pipe, but this one does it absolute justice. I am accompanied by Annie Belle Lee, as she got trapped out in the rain and also sought refuge on the porch. Good company. I shall endeavor to have a cuppa later thinking I might be joining Zippo (hopefully) on that.

Thanks Jim, and she is a tortoiseshell callico. They are said to have difficult personalities, but we get along just fine. She can be temperamental and ferocious at times with others. She has sad early years, having been the only survivor of a litter after their mother was killed on the road. The others died in the barn, but she managed to crawl out into a field where my daughter found her and came to the rescue. We all took turns bottle feeding her, although we were cautioned that she wouldn't make it. Albeit, a strong will to live coupled with kindness, love and persistence are powerful.

Me, too. It's work, man. I post them on my Facebook page with extra photos because so many people like to hear the stories, and I started doing it on pipe forums because a number of people asked for more, too.

A third of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. With any luck, I'll end the day with this smoke.

Check out Pipepedia for some info on this name. Appears it could be a Comoy's second brand amongst others. The Tower symbol is quite distinctive. FTRPLT

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am a third of the way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Lavazza Perfetto, neat, is my drink. Time to clean a few pipes.

I also beg to disagree. Tobacco is a harvested crop, like corn or beans. I don't think the folks who raise tobacco consider it a weed, LOL.

Good afternoon gents. Pre dinner smoke of 2012 Esoterica Margate in a Design Berlin bent dublin with a mug of leftover morning coffee. My riding buddy and his wife are coming over for a BBQ rib dinner. Should be fun since we always wind up playing Mexican Train. Not to mention his wife is a total hoot. Keeps us laughing the whole time. Fun folks.

About a third of the way through this bowl of year 2010 Full Virginia Flake in a slight bend 1968 group 4S Dunhill Shell 475 cherrywood with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Got lots of feral photos today as Sam the Scamp, Abner the Eager, and especially Harry the Hairy were territorial this afternoon.
