Little bit of a frustrating afternoon. PT person got a bit over enthusiastic and now my hand hurts more than when it was injured. Little tiff with the wife because I was a bit short due to my frustration. Fortunately she gets over things like that quickly. Anyway trying to chill out with Arango Balkan Supreme in a Sav Estrella non pareil 9111 and 3 fingers of canadian whiskey. Okay, I have fat fingers but it's my measure, lol. Lovely morning on the deck smoking 2004 Gawith Hoggarth Dark Flake unscented in a Briar Works prince shape. Colombian peaberry coffee to accompany the smoke, fresh from the French press. Will be taking out the kayaks for the first time today that my wife surprised me with for my bday back in March. Finally a warm day where we both have off work….can’t wait to get out on the creek! First pipe in a week, so easing back in with a mild Virginia blend: Ashton Gold Rush in a Buescher cob. Among other things the second Covid vaccine did me in. Other than to get up to go to the bathroom or have a bowl of soup I slept for 15 hours and did absolutely nothing - not even to read or turn on the pooter. Anyhow, seem to be getting back to normal, so hope to enjoy another pipe or two today.

Finishing a jar of circa 2005 Gawith Hoggarth Dark Plug in a GBD Conquest Pedigree. Didn’t have quite enough to fill the bowl so I added some Dark Flake unscented from around the same year. Picked up some French roast coffee yesterday from Sprouts and am enjoying it with the smoke. Hope everyone enjoys what is left of the weekend!

Good Sunday evenings folks. I took a couple of weeks off from the pipe while traveling on vacation but now that I'm back, I'm enjoying some FVF in a smooth Savinelli pot. Diet Dr. Pepper on the side cause I'm a little wild and crazy like that.

Made it through the Monday work day! Now on the deck enjoying the great weather, smoking Ken Byron Ventures Mycroft ‘21 in a Savinelli Estella 315 EX. Decaf coffee on the side and tunes on the Bluetooth speaker. 3 more work days and then off Friday for a long weekend and a trip to the beach!
