Hello my friends and fellow BoBs. I have gotten over the bad and heavy cold I had all last week, and the cough it left me with, although annoying, is also clearing up. So against Mrs Zs advice, I'm going to fill a small bowl of my fave Ranger gifted Hobbit Weed in a Dr Plumbs Quintex, and see how it goes for my first smoke, in what seems like forever. Wish me luck, and I wish each and everyone of you a great day

A couple of goodies arrived in the mail today. 1) I acquired this restored Jansen's bent volcano via Etsy. According to Pipedia Jansen's was a tobacconist in New Orleans whose pipes were made by GBD and Comoy's. 2) KBV Burley Morning Pipe, which I really enjoyed.

I bought a gently used Poul Winslow D bent apple from a seller in Serbia.He claims it was used a couple of times, I have purchased pipes from him before and was never disappointed! The only downside is waiting 3 weeks to a month for it`s arrival. LOL!

Glad to read that your doing better Zippo, those Dr PLumb pipes are underrated, IMHO.

What was his name? I bought 3 or 4 from a guy in Serbia and they were all fine pipes. BEAR something or other.
