My woman left yesterday to return in a week. It’s a strange circumstance we’re in and I’m not sure it will last. I love her to my very being, I’m not whole when she’s not around. After 50 years I still feel like a teenager when she’s here. I’ve tried both porches today

without much comfort. No football game interests me. I’m smoking a Rossi 8616, what a great smoke. Waiting for bedtime.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Lavazza Classico, neat, is my drink. Getting ready to clean a few pipes.

Sharing my chair and pipe with Archie!
Great photo, buddy. Tell Billy the Slacker to quit being shy, and pose. :)

I've passed the first third of this bowl of year 2018 Solani 633 in a straight 1954 patent Dunhill 148 Group 3 black shell bulldog made for the France market with a black saddle vulcanite stem. I took part in a zoom meeting the family of my dear, late friend David Cuneo. Some of you may remember my remembrance of him that I posted in this thread not long ago. It was a special time for all of us to trade stories about him. David was a pipe authority of the highest order, and a great man. I will always miss him.

After dinner smoke, Bari Wiking bent Rhodesian, PS b&b 23,mug of DD coffee. It`s a cold night here,28 degrees already and dropping fast. I am looking forward to watching the Bill`s game tonight,if I can stay awake! They are expecting a couple of feet of snow during the game and there is no dome!

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm near the finish of this bowl of year 2002 Reiner Long Golden Flake in a smooth dark brown quarter bend 1950s Comoy’s Blue Riband 187 yachtsman with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Here's one of Sam the Scamp's scampers, Ringo, as he enjoys his life. He's the brother of Archie and Billy.

Last smoke of the day is Wilke Pickett’s Charge in a post-WW2 straight smooth brown pre-Republic Peterson’s Dublin 3 bulldog with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Just fed all the ferals, and both Abner the Eager and Harry the Hairy wanted to go out. I put Abner out the front door so Harry wouldn't chase him away. Reading while this bowl lasts.

My morning pipe is Borkum Riff Original, in the Cobbler. I'm getting frustrated by the mail strike, if it were ended today my tobacco and gifts might get here by Christmas with the backlog. That's a big "might". This may finally be the year that Canada Post stole Christmas. I'll be damned if I mail anything again, I'll use courier services.

Good morning BoB and happy Monday.
I woke up early, got ready for the day and found it was still too early to go to work. I loaded up a bowl of Lane Hazelnut which I am happy to be almost through and walked to the post office to check the mail. It was 7° F out and still quite dark so my legs and hands got chilly. Nothing of note arrived, possibly due to a mail strike that a poster above me mentioned. Now I'm sitting before the lazer cutter at work, sipping my fancy green tea.
This Thanksgiving may have been the best one I have experienced yet. Lots of good times and good food shared with my wife's family who I love dearly.
