Waiting for dinner. Watching "Jungle Queen" 1945 anti Nazi propaganda film. Pretty funny sort of. The stunt and effects make me smile.
It's taking forever, but hopefully soon. Basil was supposed to start 2 hours ago. But was locked into a DOTA game that finally ended. He used to be a pro video gamer and still plays pretty seriously. Same friends online and IRL for years. I've met a bunch of them. Great people. He can't just leave during a game and I try to be understanding.
Hunger is starting to overcome me. He better hurry or I'm not responsible for my actions. If I stop posting I've succumbed to starvation. OK my hunger induced rant is over.
I'm having C&D Snug Harbor in my Tinderbox. I think it's a Cherrywood but doesn't change the smoke. All my Tinderbox pipes smoke well. First time trying Snug Harbor and I like it. Perfectly matches the TV serial.

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight 1960s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem.

And now, I am just finishing this bowl of year 2012 Mac Baren Virginia Flake in a straight smooth dark brown 1920s-30s Comoy’s Tradition 332 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Haven't smoked this pipe much; less than I should. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Been watching old westerns with Sleepy Suzy by my side for most of it.

Now smoking year 2021 Watch City Simply VOriental in a straight smooth medium brown 1930s Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Daisy the Feral Princess is snoozin' by my feet. Tomato the Brave wanted out, so m'lady let him go, and Harry the Hairy came in. He ate, and is fighting tissues on m'lady's lap. Didn't see Abner the Eager today.

This morning it’s Rattray Stirling Flake in a Savinelli New Art. The pipe was given to me by a good friend who resides in South Korea. He purchased this pipe at a shop in Seoul and then gifted it to me while visiting the States a few years back. Comsa coffee fresh from the French press and some blues music on the speaker.

Bayou Morning in my Durham Don with coffee. Going to my brother's later, planning session about my mother's move to a smaller place.

Forgot to post: having a bowl of 1-Q in my LePeltier Cognac before I hit the road, BBL. This pipe may actually be better than my other LePeltier, bigger void in the bowl, smokes even cooler. Have to admit it obstructs my field of vision a lot more having a straight stem. Sometimes it reminds me visually of a toilet - it smokes well, though. 🤪

A third of the way through this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed all the cats except for the absent Abner the Eager. Daisy the Feral Princess tried to come to the bedroom, and Molly Danger had hissing fit when she saw her. I had to get Daisy, and take her upfront. When I couldn't sleep this morning, and was working on David's estate pipes, Molly actually came out of the bedroom. She got plenty of attention before I went back to bed. That's the first time she has left the bedroom in months. She hates all ferals, and is afraid of them. Going to check on the status of those pipes in a couple of minutes.

Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast with a golden delicious apple lunch. I'm a third of the way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a 1999 smooth brown medium bend Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Baskerville with a sterling silver band and black vulcanite p-lip stem. Giving the 4AB Natural a day of rest. Gold Star Peru Penachi Fair Trade Organic, neat, is my drink. Got one of David's pipes ready to smoke, and I will after this one is done.

Now smoking from a freshly opened bag of year 2014 Esoterica Tilbury in a straight smooth Danish gold straight grain undated W.O. Larsen Hand Made in Denmark dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. It was pretty clean, and didn't need much work. The bag of Tilbury came from David's estate, and it is only fitting that I opened it for this pipe. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Smoking a Design/Berlin Rhodesian with MB 7 seas regular blend.Sadly I did not last very long on my 2 nd shift at work today. I returned at 1 pm as planned but by 3;30 the back pain was so bad that I had to leave. Luckily we had a full staff so I did not feel to bad about leaving. I got home and took my pain meds which knocked me out until 6;30 when my wife woke me up. The pain has calmed down some and I will be back in bed shortly.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, cod and snow peas dinner with chocolate mint cookies and a few chocolate covered cherries for dessert. The combination was enjoyable. I'm passing the quarter mark of this bowl of Seattle Pipe Club Hogshead in a well appreciated medium bend, smooth brown 1950s Peterson 999 Dublin chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Abner the Eager showed up so I picked him up, and brought him inside to eat. Daisy the Feral Princess was running quickly to get inside before I closed the door. About ten minutes after they ate, the storm, hail, and wind that our award winning inaccu-weather station claimed that would be here all day started at 7:30 p.m. It ended after twenty minutes. And no tornado either. I'm pleased that channel 2 remains consistent. At least the storm made it here in the same week that they predicted it. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Now smoking year 2012 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Watching the first of a two part Matlock story guest starring some fella named William Conrad.
