About a third of a bowl left of Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark brown medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a vulcanite black tapered AB stem. This was the blend Basil Rathbone smoked.

Now smoking aged Rattrays Hal O’ The Wynd in a straight smooth brown pre-1952 (Comoy’s) Corinthian De-Luxe 126 pot made for Sutliff in San Francisco with a black tapered vulcanite stem. Going to do a little work now.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm almost half way through this bowl of first release Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth natural medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a vulcanite black tapered AB stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching Of Human Hearts with a great cast, including Charles Coburn, James Stewart, and Walter Huston.

Smoking a Bari Wiking freehand with Sutliff Queen Anne`s revenge, along with the last of my coffee. My much anticipated delivery from the country squire seems to have gotten lost in the mail... I gave the clerk at the Post office my tracking #,He looked it up and I got that deer in the headlights look! He told me the last record of it was it arrived in NY on Saturday, but he has no idea where it is.I am trying to be patient as I know they are busy with the Holiday rush, but,I was really looking forward to trying these new tobacco`s.

Up early. 24 degrees on the patio. Looking out on a fresh skiff of snow, maybe an inch. Not bad with the patio heater on and a throw blanket. Anyway, CS Figgy Pudding in a Don Carlos bent brandy with 8 o'clock columbia peaks coffee. Breakfast with my Ranger buds this morning then out to the ranch to check on Cochise.

To celebrate the weirdly warm weather, a bowl of McClelland Blackwood Flake, gifted by a very generous BoB member, in a large Italian billiard. Great way to start the morning.

Starting off my smoking day with this bowl from a first production tin (2013) of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

In memory of Paul Perri, who passed away at age 101, I dedicate this smoke: year 2002 Reiner Long Golden Flake in a brown straight smooth circa 2012 Paul Perri chubby billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. RIP, Paul.

This was the blend Basil Rathbone smoked. A cup of hot tea is my drink. Watching a lecture on baseball during the Depression.
