80° and clear. Italian poker in a British tradition with 4 year old Night Train. The fig and prune nuances have all but aged out of this tobacco. It saddens me. Nevertheless, it was a relaxing and fine smoke.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Just finished smoking Wilke Edwin on the Hudson #2 beta in a 1987 smooth medium brown Peterson first series Sherlock Holmes full bend with a silver band and a black vulcanite tapered p-lip stem. Lunch is next!

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am a third of the way through this bowl of year 2013 Rotary Navy Cut in a post-1938 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 bulldog with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Nigel Bruce smoked this model in two Sherlock Holmes movies. Please consider asking Smoking Pipes to bring back this model. Lavazza Classico, neat, is my drink. Time for my weekly Sunday pipe zoom.

1925 Dunhill Canadian still going strong after ninety-seven years! Our throwaway-recycle society could learn a thing or two from those old school craftsman!

Smoking a new to me Weber bull moose with Lane LL-7 and a bottle of mineral water. This pipe was in pretty bad shape when I got it, the hardest part to me was opening up the draw,it was severely clogged and blocked. I had to resort to a dremel and a small drill bit to get it cleared... I am still not a fan of pipes with stingers though.

Very true. I have several Dunhills from the 1920s and '30s, as well as Parkers, Comoy's, Petersons, and others going back to the 1870s. I certainly have learned what old wood can do for my smoking experience in the last three years.

Director's Cut from a tin bought in 2018. When I popped it, it was too DFK-forward, when it used to be more perique-forward. I didnt enjoy that, esp when there was Orlik DSK, Montgomery, and Newminster 403 lying around. A couple years later, it's sweeter, there's still not much perique, and it sure smokes fast, even when the coins aren't rubbed out, moisture level is medium, and the pipe was slightly overpacked.

I still love it, though.
