Just passing the first third of this bowl of Seattle Pipe Club Hogshead plug in a medium bend, smooth brown 1950s Peterson 999 Dublin chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem.

Now smoking year 2018 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching the Braves-Marlins game.

LOL!!! I/we have family in Chester!! I'm one of those "weird" "bitter" drinkers who like it hand pulled at cellar temperature!! Ido enjoy my lagers and pilsners on the cold side!! FTRPLT

As a retired Brewmaster whose early training was exclusively in the UK heritage of the brewing, handling, and serving of traditional cask-conditioned real ale, I can relate to this 100%.

Cheers,

RR

Yep. Prescott, up in high country. We are just above 5600 ft. Plus it's monsoon season. Been raining off and on the last month. Every day this week. Hills are green as Old Eire.
Ranger, I stayed in Sedona about ten years ago and took a day trip to Prescott. Beautiful little country town.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and sugar snap peas dinner with chocolate pudding for dessert. I'm closing in on the half way mark on this bowl of year 2016 Stonehaven in a straight black sandblasted 1957 Barling Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. black billiard with a silver banded military mount and a black ebonite tapered stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Today was a Peter Stokkebye Cube Cut marathon. First bowl was in my Castello 75 Sea Rock Lovat GG. Second bowl was in my Peterson Ashford XL90. And the third bowl was in my Savinelli 320 Mega. Great sipping tobacco that performed best in the Castello and Peterson. I threw in Watch City Flake 558/Castello K31 between Cube Cut bowls one and two. Very relaxing smokes. Everyone have a good night!

Your favorite! Great patina on that pipe.

Now smoking year 2011 Full Virginia Flake in a straight 1968 Dunhill Shell bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Well, here's a novel excuse for Fernando Tatis taking a steroid and letting down your teammates: ringworm. He has was recovering from a broken wrist suffered when he rode a motorcycle, which was forbidden in his contract. And now this. Immature moron.

The aquarium is in the right side of my desk, every time i was watching a movie in the pc or reading or i was just smoking my pipe and enjoying my coffee the turtles were watching me especially Packy. Every time i entered the room or got up from the chair she turned her head to me, was watching every move when i was sitting on the desk. Many times i was teasing her with my finger and she was trying to ''bite'' it behind the glass but when i was trying to feed her close to her mouth was very shy. Very often i was laying down my pipe to watch them play of fighting each other for who's gonna bite the biggest piece of meat or fruit.
I consider them as ''pipe smoking companions'' because they never-ever reacted badly to the smoke of the pipe although they olfaction is very sensitive. When my wife was making roast meat in the kitchen although they didn't have any visual contact at all they were making like crazy because they smell (and felt) that extra food is coming. The ''madness-time'' was when my wife was approaching with 2 toasts, the smell of the roast turkey made them splash the water in a phrenitis and they didn't give up till i decide to give them a piece of it.

Here is an older photo of Packy, she is at the top stretching her left leg. I know that Humanity has far more serious problems but i lost my 10+ years pipe smoking companion, i miss her, i still haven't believe it and i know that the future Winter smoking days would never be the same. Thank you all for your kindly words.

Another photo from my latest vacations, Vanilla tobacco, double espresso and kompoloi in a Cafe very close to the beach.

Meant cold, not old, lol. My new 320EX came today. Breaking it in with CH. Crown Royal on the side. 74 and light rain. Quite pleasant on the patio pre dinner. Had this earlier. Double rainbow. Wow 2 pots of gold.
That pipe's a beauty, and the double rainbow right behind it. Congrats on the new 320!

Sorry for the loss of Packy. Reptiles are such interesting pets, and I've always been fascinated by them.

Got up at 5 am to see the Perseid meteors-not a one but much moonlight. Saw the sunrise, took a bike ride, and now enjoying a bowl of SG St. James Flake in the Savinelli 320 EX. A little concerned about smoking a flake so early in this pipe's unbroken in state. I figure the thick walls and round shape can take it. Swede

Used to be. Still a beautiful area and nice town but growing like crazy with all the CA fruits and nuts coming in. Housing prices going sky high. Traffic becoming a problem. And all the libs moving into PHX trying to turn AZ into CA. But still a better place to live than most.

Good Afternoon Friends.
Darn it's another hot one in Merry olde England. We ain't designed to tolerate this kinda weather.
I broke the original stem on this pipe a few years ago. But the replacement I use for it, works just fine. And so I'm going to plug my 1911 W.H. Carrington Calabash, with some Samuel Gawith Squadron Leader. And peruse AC Units online.
Have a great day everybody
