Did a second set of walking reps on this brutally hot and humid afternoon, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2017 Esoterica Dorchester in a straight smooth brown 1920s KBB Rocky Briar 1582 patent no.298978 with a B in a circle bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. A short nap follows this smoke.

I've a third of a bowl left of year 2018 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Getting ready to clean a few pipes as I watch the ball game.

Almost finished smoking year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

Jack Kirby, the major creator of the Marvel Universe (Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, The Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, Red Skull, Dr. Doom, etc.), and many other characters for other companies, was born on this day in 1917. His creative visions reshaped the world of fantasy for billions of people from the 1930s to today. He was a great human being, one of my greatest inspirations, and a close friend. RIP, Jack.
