First smoke of the day for me, yes I know I'm well behind, but it's been a busy morning. So I'm about to plug this Savinelli Oscar Tiger, with some Petersons summer reserve. This is only the 2nd time I've smoked this pipe, (same tobacco) so still breaking it in.

Good morning everyone. Starting my day with Hobbits Weed in the Sav Hercules 320EX. Big mug of morning coffee. Light but steady rain, a cool 64 now, high of 68 today. Rain predicted for all day.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

Going for fig today with Chenet's Cake (5 year aged thanks to a generous BoB) in a Savinelli Trevi 320 EX. The real fig is from a plant in my yard. They are really something fresh, but I eat dried figs too. Even the seeds can give a surprising burst of flavor.

Smoking a rather generous plug of St. Bruno in a Savinelli Author. Can feel the change in the weather now, after a glorious summer, it's now very chilly, time to put heating on soon methinks.

A third of the way through this bowl of the soon-to-be released (Sept. 27) Seattle Pipe Club Give Me Liberty in a medium bend 2001 Ural lattice Rhodesian with a yellow with white swirls acrylic saddle stem. Still working on a review of this blend. The citrus is very tart and tangy thanks to the Brazilian leaf, and strongly competes with the old belt red Va. That much I'll say for now. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching the Braves-Mets game.
