Yep, we were a bit hesitant about getting a rescue dog, but he is proving to be a sweet little boy. Scared of everyone and everything but given his background I'm not surprised. But he is getting better every day, just going to take a while.
My last two dogs have been rescues and I wouldn’t have anything else now. You did good Ranger!

Decided on a bowl of GLP Triple Play in the Lorenzo Spitfire, and got to try a new razor knife from SMKW. It's their brand Rough Ryder and shaving sharp with nice thin lockback stainless blade, and bone handle. Got to give them credit, as ordered for $9.99 Saturday and arrived today. Will become my new plug knife.

Swede, That looks like it’s going to be a good 3P’s plug cutter. Forgot to tell you the other day, slicing it really thin and rub/twisting the tobacco helps keep it lit. If you like old codger blends like Ready-Rubbed you will love 3P’s. It’s strong until you get used to it.

I keep telling here I need to learn to play the flute so I can charm her like a cobra in a basket. She doesn’t find that humorous. 😂 Honestly, she is a blessing.
I don't think telling a woman you want her to be like a snake in a basket is the way to her heart. Lol. You should tell her you think of her as the queen and you are her subject. Best response ever invented is Yes Dear, lol.

Just passing the half way mark on this bowl of Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem.

Jim, Thanks for your vote of confidence. Lol. I’ll post one just for you tomorrow.
You must do more than one, man. I know a few people who are reluctant to post many smokes because they are smoking cobs, and OTCs. I always tell them - as I am saying to you - that those smokes are as important as high grade pipes with expensive tobacco. Nobody's passing judgement. If somebody did, I'd tell them where to stick their fancys. :)

Well said Jim 👏

Hello BoB,
I decided not to bore you guys the last couple days because all I have been smoking is Lane Limited Ready-Rubbed, Carter Hall, and PS Cubed Cut in two different MM Cobs. The cobs smoke well, but the draft hole tends to stop up with cube and rough cut tobacco. Problem being, the shank inside the bowl is shaped like a little scoop. Nothing a pipe cleaner won’t fix.

Had a little PAD issue the other day. Seemed like adopting a Republic of Ireland Peterson 314 was the right thing to do. The little thing smokes like a champ! (PS Luxury Twist/Navy Flake) Too bad briar doesn’t look like this on the new Petes! View attachment 6482
My Petes 314 is one of my goto pipes for a quick n crafty, it's a Trooper and I love it.

Hey Zip, I need to learn a thing or two from you and EZ. Even after 34 years of marriage to the same woman, I tend to stay in the doghouse. Might be my lack of tact huh Zippo? 😂
Me and Mrs Z have been married 48yrs. I met her while i was on leave, and we have been together ever since. She's a diamond, and she knows me inside out. And I wouldn't swap her for anything in the world. Well maybe a few exquisite made Dunhills 🤔 lol. But there ain't no secret to it, I'm just lucky that I married my best friend. Having bored you all with all that, Im Plugging a Savinelli Roma with Charatans First Bowl as I wish you all a great day my friends.
