He's a real cutie, but then I've met very very few dogs I didn't like. My wife bought me a t-shirt that says I like horses, dogs, and maybe 3 people. Not totally true as I do like more than 3 people, but overall I like horses and dogs more than most people, lol.

Thanks Ranger107. I can really relate to that. Maybe best of all he's the grand dog, so I just watch him when necessary. I've been accused of letting him get away with stuff that wouldn't fly at home, but he's my buddy and hangs out with me on the porch while pipe smoking, etc.
Thanks Sturdy Papa 359, it cleaned up pretty good, and could use more work. Smoked good and wide open with a loose pack for the short time I could smoke. Bandit loves to ride, and gives that sideways head look when I ask him about going for a Jeep ride-his favorite. He's a real joy.

This one has not been used to hunt, but he has the abilities which just come out naturally. If I was going to get another family dog after our beagle passed some years ago, I think it would be a Boykin. Their history as a breed is interesting, and if what I read is true, they essentially came from a stray. Now, back to smoking soon-watch out LN Flake, here I come.
