Good Afternoon my friends. Today I've set aside as pipe cleaning day. I have rather a few to do, as I have been very lapse over the Christmas period. To help me along I'm continuing to listen to The Hound of the Baskervilles on Audible.
My pipe of choice is a Falcon International fitted with a Meershaum bowl (Sorry Sturdy lol). and plugged with some Petersons Early Morning pipe.
Have a fantastic day everybody.
Zip, That’s the Falcon that thinks it’s a briar...or in this case a meerschaum. Actually, I saw a brown colored Falcon with a tall chimney the other day and I didn’t find it offensive. 😂 Sorry for my bad behavior.

War and Peace by Ranger107! 😂😂😂. Several hours, 8’ ladder, andhr extensive use of tools. Hmmm...new bird house? 😂😂😂 The social leper has reared his ugly head once again. 😂😂😂
Wish it had been a birdhouse. Not so lucky. The 4'x8' overhead rack in my garage came loose from the wall/ceiling at one end. Trying to replace the lag bolt holding it was a challenge as I could not reach it because of the 4' width. Took some doing to get to the bolt holding it back in. But I got er done with the use of a 36' rachet extension and some ingenuity. LOL.

My afternoon pipe was WCC Waltham Broken Cake in the new & 4th Peterson Pub pipe. I really could use professional help owning four of these, but I couldn’t resist the 1% PSB.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, wild caught catfish and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm just passing the quarter mark on this bowl of year 2020 Sam Gawith Best Brown Flake in a straight smooth brown 1933-1945 Comoy’s patent Grand Slam 159 *4 apple with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching an episode of Banacek.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2018 Solani 633 in a straight 1954 patent Dunhill 148 Group 3 black shell bulldog made for the France market with a black saddle vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Good morning,
Smoking a Oldenkott bent pot with Velvet and a mug of CR coffee, I got a good nights sleep for a change. One of the waitresses that I worked with sent me a text last night informing me that the chef showed up loaded again last night,The bosses wife was notified, she promptly arrived and fired him and she and her idiot husband had to cook for a party of 100 people. I only wish I could have been there! LOL!

Good morning my friends. I was wondering what pipe I was going to choose for my first smoke of the day.
But it seems my buddy Sturdy has made my mind up for me. So I've chosen (in Sturdy's honour) 😂 a Falcon Shillelagh in gold and chrome, fitted with a semi rusticated Briar Dover bowl. The Tobacco of choice will be Gawith Hoggarth Seasonal reserve 2022. I was gifted 5 tins of this by my brother for Christmas. It will be the first time I've ever tried it, and I'm looking forward to it.
Report to follow.
Builders mug of Yorkie tea on the side
Have a great day my friends

Good morning my friends, BoBs and CoBs, lol. Up early, waiting on the sun to come up. Love this time of day, usually peaceful and quiet, except for the owl hooting away in the pine tree. A good time for musing and contemplation as I puff some Hobbits Weed in an undated Bjarne bent billiard with my first mug of coffee. Wife's birthday today so she is queen and gets whatever she wants. So, as usual, she wants to go ride Teddy, then an early dinner at her fav Mexican restaurant. After that, ???? Have a great day everyone.

Gawith Hoggarth Seasonal Reserve 2022 is a mixture of bright, flue-cured and dark fired Cavendish Virginias, blended with naturally sweet sun-cured burley leaf resulting in a mild and fragrant tobacco blend. As you open the tin you are hit with a distinctive festive aroma of Cherry and Almond rounded off with notes of Vanilla. It smells like an uncooked Christmas Cake, at least like the traditional ones we get in the UK. There is also a strong aroma of almonds, which gives the whole tin a smell of Marzipan, but you can detect the cherry lingering alongside, the vanilla too, but to a much lesser extent. It is slightly moist, but lights easily.
The taste is very subtle, and not as over powering as I was expecting, and has a fruity, creamy taste. Mrs Z gives it a room note as quote "The kind of smell of Christmas, that you remember as a kid"
Apparently they have only produced a 1000 of these, I'll have to cellar the other 4 gifted tins for posterity.
Result. It don't replace my all time fave Hobbit Weed, but alongside figgy pudding, it's way up there.
I like it.
Pipe chosen my beautifully carved Lillehammer GL
