So, a sweet 3wt split bamboo rod, Figgy Pudding in a Pete B42, a bunch of fat bluegills, a hot shower, my slippers, and a generous tumbler of The Famous Grouse. Life does not suck...

Just fired up a bowl of GH Latakia Mixture #12 in the Altinay Calabash.

Haven't been smoking lat blends much lately, and now I'm not sure why. This stuff is darn good.

Now smoking KBV River of Deceit 2023 in a medium bend fumed tan crackled year 2020 Ahmet Govem reverse calabash meerschaum with a military mount silver band and black acrylic stem. Working on a review of this blend.

PS Luxury Navy Flake in a newly acquired and cleaned S&R Pipes acorn with rustication. This pipe didn't seem to be heavily used, so clean up wasn't too hard. Lots of black oxidation from the stem now on a Mr. Clean magic eraser. I used castile soap and a toothbrush on the briar. The bowl is surprisingly generous and I got about two flakes in there easily. It draws very well with little effort and staying fairly cool. I think they might have used Grecian briar.

Good Afternoon friends and fellow BoBs. Another sunshine day in old blighty. Not bad at all for April, which is normally wet and breezy. So today I thought for my first smoke, it will be some Condor in a Parker Earl 391 Dublin. Its our 50th wedding anniversary today, so will be going out a little later for dinner and drinks, with family and friends.

Half way through this bowl of year 2021 Watch City Glass Slipper Micro-Batch in a post-2000 straight brown sandblasted Tom Eltang cherrywood with a black acrylic saddle stem. This will get me to dinner time. I have my TV on so I can watch the Reds-Pirates game while listening to the Braves-Astros game on the XM since the video for that game is on Apple TV. Just finshed cleaning some pipes.

I got black fountain pen ink out of a wool blanket with one of those erasers. Needless to say I was relieved! Now I'll try it on my pipes.
