In my smoking wool jacket, it's 25 F this morning while I'm smoking the DGT on a late bowl of Amphora original from yesterday. The ole MM Diplomat bent apple cob stayed out last night, but I warmed her a bit in the house before lighting. You gotta love the simplicity of cobs!

Slept in really late this morning so late to the party today. But better late than never, lol, so it's Hobbits Weed in a Sav Hercules 606EX. Big mug of Costa Rican coffee. A crisp 32 on the patio. Nothing on the agenda today so should have time for a few pipes. Just relaxing, watching the fireplace, maybe see a couple of old movies. Found an old John Wayne I have never seen before. About a pro football coach who helps build a team for a catholic school in debt. Should be interesting.

Had a bowl of CH in a MM cob earlier but now going full Brit for my friend Zippo. Some of his gifted Condor ready rubbed in a Mountbatten Royal, made in London by Charaton, Yorkshire tea on the side, and reading a very interesting article about Queen Elizabeth's favorite horse Burmese. A thorobred/Hanovarian gifted to her by the CRMP. She was a gifted horse woman who loved horses. Did not know she saved the Centenial Bay breed from extinction. I respect her for her love of horses and her leadership of the United Kingdom. I think I would have really liked knowing her.
