How does it compare to CH?

I haven't smoked CH. It's as good as Granger and Sutliff ERR match, and maybe them combined.

Or did you mean the cold weather gear, lol? Easy, propane patio heater, $150 at Costco. Heated throws online at Amazon, $30 and up. Got a heated car seat for the wife, $50 at Home Depot with a/c adaptor.

Both, but I get by with my wool gear. May get a throw.

After chores and a couple of oat muffins I shared with Winston, our dog, and Oats, my Quaker parrot; I loaded up an MM Diplomat with G&H Balkan Mixture. That wasn't making the grade so I opened up a tin of Mac Baren Symphony and filled an MM Pride. The first time I tried Symphony I was a sophomore in high school. A teacher had recommended Virginia #1 and said that I could buy it at Peretti's in Park Square. I tried it and got nothing but tongue bite so the next time I went there I bought Symphony.

Hi, Just got back from my local B & M shop. I picked up a tin of Sutliff Barbados Plantation for $9.00. I know it's a aromatic blend but I figured what the heck ,I'd try it. I'm going to smoke it in a new MM cob I bought. I use the cobs only for the aromatics. Stuff smells great. I also picked up a Petersons avacodo colored leather 2 pipe tobacco pouch. seems real nice. I know I paid a little xtra for the pouch, but I figured it's going to my B & W store. Don't want to lose them. Later.

Close to finishing this bowl of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

Smoking a Pete Deerstalker with M B Modern mixture and a mug of CR coffee.
The new shower was installed and it looks really good, I was pretty happy until I found out they wanted to charge me 900 dollars to repaint the 8x10 bathroom.Maybe, I am wrong ,but I think that's a high price. BTW, I am paying for the paint ,it`s not included in the 900. am I crazy?

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am a third of the way through this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Blue Ready Rubbed in a straight 1924 Dunhill’s “Shell Briar” patent pot 7 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Gold Star Jamaican Estate Reserve, neat, is my drink. Watching Larceny, Inc. starring some fella who looks like me, see. Myeah!

I enjoyed the Mac Baren Symphony so much that I opened a tin of Mac Baren Golden Extra that I've had since 2018. I'm smoking some in an MM Pride. Two enjoyable blends!

Did a second set of walking reps, and am close to finishing this bowl of Wilke No. 515 in a 1998 smooth straight Butz-Choquin Bistro 1501 pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem. This was the original 515 that Basil Rathbone smoked. Going to smoke pots today.

I smoked a full bowl of the Barbados Plantation in the cob. Man this stuff was great. once I had it packed right it stayed lit for the whole smoke. The aroma was great, the tast was really good. Plus it had no bite for an aromatic. I'm no tobacco expert , but this tobacco was a great smoke. I wish Sutliff sold it in bulk, I'd smoke it a few times a day.

That does seem quite high. By the time you take out for the shower, vanities, any cabinetry, mirrors, etc. how much wall is left to paint? A gallon of paint should do it. My master bath in Tuscon was probably 12 x 20 and I did it myself in one day. Even if it took 2 days $450 a day seems high. Just my 2 cents worth.
