Good evening BoBs. Had a great dinner of Angus swiss burgers with fried onions and sweet potatoes. Now enjoying Lancer Slices in a Randy Wiley freehand bent dublin with a mocha coffee. Had a great ride today with some friends. Ran across some cattle on open range. Thought I would herd them and try some roping but Cochise wasn't in the mood. LOL.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm a third of the way through this bowl of year 2010 Amphora Original (Brown) in a full bend barley sandblast Peterson Anniversary 1898-2023 No. 172/330 302 brandy military mount with a silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip saddle stem. Going to work as soon as this bowl is smoked. See you folks tomorrow.

Smoking some MB 7 seas regular in a French Wessex billiard,Large mug of DD coffee.It`s a sunny but chilly morning. I have a lot more leaves to pick up,but the Town workers have not picked up the last dozen bags yet. I noticed that some of the neighbors are burning they`re leaves-which is Illegal here in NY state...

Morning! Coffee, my little Lorenzetti and Erinmore Mixture. Wish we would get some decent winter weather so I can lay track for X-country skiing at the course and break out the misery sticks.

When I lived in Iowa back in the 80s my house had 6 huge sugar maples bordering the west fence line. The city didn't pick up leaves. So I made a kind of fire pit, a 5 foot circle of heavy hardware cloth. Every fall I would rake up the leaves and burn them. Smelled wonderful. Didn't have to worry about fire danger since it was so green there and in those days no one cared about air pollution, lol.

Did a lot of x country skiing back in the midwest. Too many hills around here and at my age if I go down a mountain I can't get back up. No ski lifts around here. LOL

Good morning everyone. Really late this morning. Slept in a couple of hours. Starting with Rivendell in a Butz Choquin magnum bent brandy and a mug of hot Costa Rican coffee with a smidgen of cinnamon. Mmmmm good. Easy day today. Not much to do till 2 when we have to go to the Legion to help prepare for Friendsgiving dinner.

Second pipe is an MM Missouri Pride filled with GLP Kensington and with a fresh cup of Columbian pour over coffee. Almost time to distribute noon treats followed by another attempt to get the barn heater working.

Smoking a Custombilt Lumberman? BB alamo and a Mc Cafe k-cup I was outside when the guys came by to pick up the leaves, I asked the driver what day and how often they pick up yard waste. Instead of answering my question,He informed me that I have too many bags of leaves and that that are too heavy! I told him that I am 3 times his age and I carried them to the curb,they took 4 bags out of the dozen that where out there ... I got the number of the truck and I am calling the town later! I got a lot more leaves for him for next time and I plan on lining the street with as many bags as I can! Now I know why my neighbors are burning their leaves and risking the fine.

Sounds like he is just a lazy ********. If they won't let you burn, how can they limit how much they will pick up?

Decided to stick to aros, so it's Figgy Pudding in a Pete system B42 smooth bent apple. Temp says 45 but feels much colder. There's a cold wind blowing across the desert today, lol.
