Setting down to an evening pipe of Oriental Silk in my Cobbler. These two are a very good match. Having Kraken coffee with, was a hard day of clearing underbrush today.

Had a busy day, much of it on the phone with a great friend chatting about a wide variety of subjects. Here's what I smoked since I was here last:

Year 2021 first production Watch City Simply Orange Virginia in a black sandblast medium bend Peterson POTY 4AB No. 182/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem.

First release Watch City Rhythm & Blues in a black rusticated medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 67/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem.

Year 2012 Carter Hall in a black rusticated medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 437/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem.

Currently, I am relaxing after a wonderful salad, haddock and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. And have a quarter of a bowl left of year 2012 St. James Flake in a straight 1968 Dunhill Tanshell octagonal paneled EK F/T billiard with a square shank and tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Now smoking Wilke No. 72 in a pre-1974 dark brown straight Larus & Brother Co. Signature billiard with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem with the initials LCR on the top of the stem. This blend was smoked by Walter Cronkite.

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of D&R Windsail in a straight smooth brown undated (1940s?) Orlik Reject London Made 0 bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem.

Currently, I am half way through this bowl of Wilke Hearth of Galway in an undated smooth straight medium brown made in France Saillard Lord Clerit lumberman with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

A third of the way through this bowl of year 2020 D&R Raccoon’s Delight in my very reliable smooth straight post-1938 pre-Republic Peterson Sterling Canadian 263 with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Been working and listening to the rebroadcast of the Braves-Mariners game since I missed a bit of it this afternoon.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am smoking Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. Haven't seen Harry the Hairy today. Saw Abner the Eager once. Haven't seen Tomato the Brave in four days. I wonder if his "owners" might be keeping him locked up to keep him home. Or maybe it's because of the scampers, but I doubt it. I am seeing less of those cats lately. Daisy the Feral Princess mostly stays inside these days, but she keeps her distance from the scampers, and when she can, Sam the Scamp, too.

Close to finishing this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. I'll end the day with this smoke.

Good Morning!
I was so distracted yesterday I didn't post anything! It was a day of Westminster with an evening MM Let Freedom Ring Rob Roy filled with Peterson Flake. The chores are done and soon we'll be going grocery shopping. I'm finishing an MM Apple Diplomat filled with GLP Westminster along with a k-cup of coffee, up next for the ride a Pride filled with Westminster.
